Holosun 509T QD Mount

The AD-509T QD mount was developed for the Holosun 509T red dot for use on AR pistols and other weapon platforms requiring a small, light weight red dot system. The AD-509T QD mount is a one piece unit that offers low, co-witness and lower 1⁄3 co-witness optic height. Offered in both standard or TAC lever, it is precision machined from 6061 T6 aluminum and finished in hard coat T3 Mil-Spec anodize. It features the Patented QD Auto Lock™ Lever system to accommodate both in spec and out of spec rail systems.

This mount also fits the Holosun SCRS RD MRS Red Dot, however the optic itself is taller than the 509-T so the Co-witness will not line up correctly with iron sights.

1st tier product, 2nd tier service

I cannot say I am happy with my recent purchase. On the Day 1, I placed an order to by the QD mount with standard height. Day 2, I emailed the company and asked for changing to a different height (same price) before the order was shipped. Day 3, the order was shipped without any response to my email. Day 4, sales told me it was shipped. So I have to pay the round-trip shipping cost to return it and buy the other one with the corret height. As a returning customer, I will return it and buy a new one. But I am not super happy with it.

Nice work

First off, the ordering and shipping were great. I was actually shocked at how fast the order was processed and out the door. Secondly, when I installed the mount it went on easily, and if you are inexperienced the provided instructions are well written with photos included. I would definitely buy from American Defense Mfg again. Important factors for my review are value, fit, and function. The mount I purchased was for an absolute co-witness, everything lines up well and the finish of the product is very good.
